Job Description : MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The production, delivery and analysis of timely management information (both financial and non-financial) to stakeholders across the business;To support the production of regular and month end financial information, in an accurate and timely manner;Ensure that appropriate control over the company’s AP/AR processes are maintained to support financial outcomes across the company;Ensure that adequate back-up and support are available for other key financial processes, such as payroll and taxes;Ensuring all financial information is processed into the accounting systems (NetSuite) on a regular and timely basis;Maintaining reconciliation of bank accounts, general ledger and balance sheetGenerating accounts receivables invoices (including inter-company transactions);Reporting and follow-up on all outstanding receivables balances;Reporting and follow-up on all accounts payable balances;Assist in the production of month end management reporting;Ensuring that company credit card transactions are reconciled and posted;Provide back-up and support to the fortnightly payroll processing, and that all payroll liabilities (including taxes and other obligations) are met as they fall due;Preparing & lodging the regular Sales Tax returns and other regulatory returns, in an accurate and timely manner;Managing and maintain the fixed asset registers for each subsidiary company in the group;Support the Finance team to prepare core accounting inputs and outputs to the regular month end financial close processes;Other ad hoc tasks within the Finance team and company-wide as identified by the Company Accountant required;ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS· 5 years plus relevant working experience;· Must have an excellent understanding of the entire accounting process including GL, P&L, reconciliation etc, and how they fit within and impact on the organization.· Strong Excel & NetSuite accounting & reporting experience;· Strong financial analytical & assessment skills;· Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce, with a major in Accounting; Superior organisation skills and ability to manage multiple information streams concurrently;· Ability to analyse, understand, communicate the key business drivers in a financial and operational context;· The ability to present complex financial issues concisely, up to a business management level;· Ability to work to tight time lines;· Confident and clear communication skills, both written and oral;· Excellent numeracy skills;· Initiative driven;DESIRABLE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSExperience in a multi-operation, multi-site business;Previous accounting in a manufacturing environment;Chartered Accountant/CPA (or equivalent qualifications), or at least working towards Chartered qualification;Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accountants: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
