Job Description : Job descriptionJOB TITLE: Staff AccountantINDUSTRY: Gourmet FoodKEY SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONSWe are growing and looking for someone that wants to grow with us! We offer a hybrid remote schedule with an attitude that says ” we trust you to do the job”· Two years minimum experience in a similar role preferred· Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QB automation features· Working knowledge of GAAP· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or closely related field· Minimum requirement is Associates Degree or qualifying certificationo Significant experience in lieu of degree will be consideredPOSITION SUMMARY: · Classifying and recording all financial transactions into QuickBooks (online)· Record store sales and audit cash handling results (accounts receivable)· Full responsibility for accounts payable· Process payroll transactions through payroll company and record into QuickBooks· Responsible for all banking needs, account reconciliation, and journal entries· Prepare books for CPA and annual tax preparation· Prepare financial statements· Ongoing evaluation of company finances with recommendations for changes and improvements.· Light purchasing, contract management, and office support as needed· Other duties as assigned.· Supervision of other accounting staffOUR ORGANIZATION: Our organization rapidly growing and are looking for qualified candidates to join our team.
