We interact with our clients on a frequent basis and our systems and technology keep workflow running smoothly throughout the year. You will be responsible for a full range of duties, including financial statement production, bank reconciliations, sales tax filings, and managing client relationships. As a primary contact person, you will provide speedy and exceptional personal service to clients in long-lasting working relationships. We need your help to service a rapidly growing number of clients. And, high-performing Accountants will have the opportunity to advance their careers at our organization. Your entrepreneurial drive to help us grow our business is just as important as your technical skills!REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports to Production Accounting Manager.DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSResponsible for producing monthly financial statement package for all assigned clients, including but not limited to reconciling bank statements and credit cards, posting monthly journal entries, and reviewing general ledger accounts.Responsible for answering accounting / financial questions from small business owner clients in a timely and effective manner.Responsible for producing sales tax returns and vouchers with instructions for all assigned clients.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSAbility to produce financial statements within current compliance practices.Knowledge of balance sheet accounts, income statement accounts, payroll and basic accounting concepts.Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little supervision.Desire to learn and grow your professional skills.Upbeat personality with a “can-do” attitude towards problem-solving and client servicePassionate about helping small businesses excel!REQUIREDExcellent knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.Ability to juggle multiple clients and tasks while maintaining high quality work product.Ability to learn new software quickly.Several years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.COMPENSATIONWe will reward your talents with an attractive salary plus performance bonus.
