Job Description : In this role, you will be responsible for managing cash flows, reconciling accounts, month-end close activities, and ensuring accuracy for financial statements. This position is for a self-motivated individual that understands accounting principles and is willing to assist with other HR and office related needs of the company. You will work closely with department managers to ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial statements and will oversee one to two other employees.General Responsibilities· Manage bank accounts, cash flows and lines of credit as necessary· Process disbursements and receipts of monies.· Calculate commissions and process payroll through third-party partner.· Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly including bank and credit card accounts· Reconcile inter-company transactions· Assist with monthly closing of books and adjusting journal entries.· Ensure proper inventory accounting as well as revenue and cost recognition.· File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns· Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable· Assist with HR functions – on-boarding of new employees, monitor ongoing compliance and license renewals, employee reviews and inquiries, and on the job injuries.Qualifications· Advanced degree in accounting· 3+ years’ experience in accounting· Thorough understanding of accounting principles and tax codes· Excellent communication and computer skills· Must be self-motivated and team-oriented· High attention to detail· Experience in the dealership industry is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Associate (Preferred)Work Location: One location
