Job Description : Independent Packing is seeking candidates for an Accountant role.Location: 7600 32nd Ave N, New Hope, MN 55427Schedule: Monday – Friday, days, full-timeSummary: Administers aspects of the accounting function, including, but not limited to: financial reporting, month end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reimbursement, payroll processing. Provides support for tax filing.Education, Experience, Skills: Associate’s degree in Accounting required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. Five or more years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of GAAP, fixed assets, cost accounting, sales and use tax reporting, and accounting practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven mathematical and organizational skills, ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to efficiently prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment. Advanced skills in Excel; proficiency in Word.
