Job Description : We are currently looking to hire a FULL TIME Accountant to join our team. The person must have prior experience in accounting and preferably a relevant degree (or perhaps currently working toward an accounting/finance degree) and enjoy figuring out solutions to day-to-day problems that arise.Qualifications:At least 6 months accounting experience – preferableExperience with internal controls and procedures – preferableHighly computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel spreadsheetsAbility to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality of information related to the company.Must be a good team playerHigh energy, positive “can-do” attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger and month/year end closing proceduresJob Duties:Perform data entry tasks for A/R invoices, A/P invoices, PO’s and journal entriesPrepare management expense reports monthly to submit to corporate officeReceive and code invoices in accounting softwareCredit Card ReconciliationStatement ReviewAssist with End of Month closingAny other duties assigned by the supervisor.Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
