Position :
Job Description : Establishes and maintains the general accounting reporting and practices for the organization. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and/or review necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.g., GAAP) and company policy. May perform bookkeeping or account management duties. Includes accounts payable, cost accounting, cash management and Controllers responsible for only accounting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Import Purchase Invoice Accounting
Payment of Taxes (TDS, PF and Professional Tax)
Filing of Professional Tax, PF,GST and TDS returns and payment of taxes
Intercompany account reconciliations
Preparation of Bank reconciliation statement on monthly basis.
Coordinate with the Auditors for statutory Audit (IGAAP and IFRS)
Coordinate with the Auditors for Physical Counting of Inventory
Passing the entry in the books of accounts for all payments received from the customers on daily basis.
Ensuring that all payments are made to suppliers within the stipulated time frame and managing accounts payable.
Depositing the cheque from customers in the bank on daily basis.
Customs duty evaluation and payment for all the goods imported from US.
Ensuring all the expenditure has been booked properly into the chart of accounts.
All the purchases of goods and services
Ensuring the purchase procedure is followed perfectly by having a requisition form from the user department which is authenticated by the user head of the department and preparation of purchase order.
Evaluation of all the costs and trying to minimize the cost without compromising in the quality of goods and services.
Working closely with all the departments like Marketing, Logistics & Admin in order to choose the right product with right supplier with good quality.
Any other works as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
The following educational credentials or a related equivalent with relevant experience are expected:
M.com, MBA Finance, Semi Qualified CA Preferred AX experience
Three or more years’ experience in successive roles within Accounting and Finance department
Knowledge of relevant software computer applications (Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PPT)
Good Communication Skills
