Position :
Job Description : Local organization seeking an Accountant to join their team! This position will assist with overseeing the accounting department, budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Job Duties:
Manage the daily operations of the accounting department
Develop cash management solutions and monitor/report on company financial performance
Manage and report on the annual reconciliation process
Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures and practices
Standardize, compile and analyze financial reporting packages
Prepare annual operating budgets and select ratios to aid management in decision making
Develop and implement financial metrics and communicate to senior management on a scheduled basis
Oversee and sign off on payroll for all personnel
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years experience in a senior accounting or financial management role (real estate industry experience preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
Proficiency in data processing systems and property management software
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong ability to lead and manage a small accounting team
Pay: Up to $80,000, depending on experience
