We sell and install custom sized, replacement Renewal by Andersen windows and patio doors. For over 20 years our team has served the Central Iowa area and established a reputation for attention to detail, superior quality, and excellent customer service. We are a small but growing family-oriented company. If you care about where you work and the people you work with, we want to hear from you.Accounting TasksMaintain Accounts Receivable accountsPrepare customer invoices in QuickBooksMonitor and process customer project financingEnter receipts and prepare bank depositsProcess Accounts Payable transactionsEnter vendor invoices and credit card chargesReconcile monthly statementsVerify sales contracts for pricing accuracyEnter sales order changes in SalesforceIdentify and resolve transaction discrepanciesMaintain internal accounting spreadsheetsEnsure all financial transactions are processed accurately and on timeCollaborate with management on recommended improvements and provide operational support as neededProvide IT support working with third party IT service providersExperience and EducationBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payableWorking knowledge of QuickBooksWindow and door product knowledge a plusSalesforce knowledge a plusStrong phone, email, and in-person communication skillsAbility to reason and solve problems and issuesAnalytical abilities and strong attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently to regularly meet deadlinesAbility to exercise good judgement and discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive materialKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, WordBenefitsFlexible work scheduleHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceDisability insuranceRetirement plan with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysReferral programEmployee discountFamily-owned company with a fun and friendly work environmentThe opening is a full-time, permanent position.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:West Des Moines, IA 50265: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: One location
