The company is growing with plans to expand in all three areas.SUMMARY: Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. Documents financial transactions by entering account information into such a system such as QuickBooks and Scan Group. Must be able to input and reconcile cost of goods and inventory accounts in a timely manner. Must be able to work closely with Inventory/LP manager and Supervisor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Specifically, the Accountant will have these core responsibilities:Prepare journal entries, schedules, and analysis related to month-end closeAssist with preparation of financial information to company managementWork closely with Inventory manager on entering GL and sales numbers regarding InventoryWorks closely with managers on day-to-day information and reconciling daily settlementsEnters daily inventory purchases and reconciles weeklyPrepares and schedules monthly store and food margin meetingsOther duties as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in Accounting is required and 3 years of Accounting experience in a similar role. Proficient in MS Office including MS Excel, QuickBooks or Backoffice type system is strongly preferred.
