Job Description : Summary: The JD Edwards Senior Staff Accountant is a position that requires proficiency in JD Edwards Financial Suite including but not limited to, G/L, A/P, A/R, knowledge of Chart of Accounts, AAI’s, DMAAI’s, Billing and Fixed Assets. Must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills that can assist the VP of Finance with reporting and various project requests.Responsibilities: · Responsible for maintaining daily Accounting operations utilizing JD Edwards World software 9.3/Financial Suits,· Strong analytical abilities with emphasis on accuracy of the General Ledger,· Proficiency in maintaining AAI’s, DMAAI’s and full understanding of JD Edwards Accounting structures,· Prepare Monthly Journal Entries for Month-End Closings· Knowledge of JD Edwards Fixed Assets,· Assist in the EOM and EOY Closing procedures for JD Edwards Books,· Prepare Financial Statements and Regulatory reporting,· Assist with End of Year Certified and Federal & State Audits and Union following JD Edwards’s methodologies,· Organize and maintain Financial Records,· Maintain G/L Account balances, bank statements and all Financial Records,· Assist in JD Edwards Migration Project / IT.Qualifications: · Bachelor of Finance or related field required,· 6-10 Years of JD Edwards World / Financial Suite (Required),· 6-10 years of previous Accounting experience,· Strong oral and written communication skills with analytical emphasis,· Ability to work independently, self-starter and must be a team player,· Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
