Job Description : We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of this position’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting principles and possess a working knowledge of general ledger entries and reconciliations.ResponsibilitiesPost and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recordedUpdate accounts receivable and issue invoicesUpdate accounts payable and perform reconciliationsAssist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelinesAssist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assignedUpdate financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when neededPrepare and submit weekly/monthly reportsAssist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closingsAssist with other accounting projects when neededRequirementsProven experience as an accountantGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumenGood understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeGreat organizing abilities and attention to detailCPA license is a plus but not requiredUnderstanding of financial reporting under US GAAPBSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant fieldJob Type: Full-timePay: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:PPE is available at all times to all employees.Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Accountants: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
