Job Description : TWI is looking to fill the following Accountant position for its client out in Los Angeles, CA.Accountant- City of Commerce, CA – Direct HireFulltime (Monday – Friday)Compensation: Starting at 60k/year + Depending on ExperienceAccountant is 100% in-person at Commerce officeDuties for Accountant Position: Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Prepare various reports and work papers every quarter for external auditors.Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.Document financial transactions by entering account information.Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.Check accuracy of figures, calculations and posting pertaining to transactions recorded by branchesPrepare and file government reports (sales & used tax, property tax, unclaimed property, corporate income tax)Other accountants’ duties as required to support on-going business needs and cross-training initiativesGuide accounting clerks by coordinating activities and answering questions.Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company.Complete special projects as assignedPreference for Accountant Position: College graduate and accounting major+5 years’ experience in the related accounting workPlease apply over on indeed.com if you are interested in the Accountant position.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $60,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)corporate income tax: 1 year (Preferred)Sales and Used tax: 1 year (Preferred)Auditing: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
