Job Description : The Accountant is responsible for researching and analyzing accounts. The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and applicable accounting software.Enters journal entries into the system of record in a timely manner.Balances accounts by verifying, allocating, reconciling, and resolving all transactions.Assists with financial month/year-end close process.Assists with procuring information for the organization’s annual audit.Keeps abreast of all accounting and financial management research by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and maintaining personal networks.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2 – 4 years of Public/Private sector accounting experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all employee levels including executive management.Strong attention to detail/accuracyKnowledge in cash balancingPreferred3 – 6 years of accounting experience.CPA CertificationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
