Job Description : We are a general contractor headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Our business is focused on the buildout of retail stores throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. We have exposure to hundreds of top name retail clients throughout this service area and deal primarily in negotiated contracts. A high percentage of our work is repeat business. Our work environment is professional with a family-oriented flair and is very fast paced. This full-time opening is for an in person, on site position within our accounting group and would work from our Pleasant Prairie, WI office location.This accounting department position is the primary Accounts Payable role within the organization. As such, a general description of the main responsibilities include:· Gathering of invoice data and support throughout the approval process.· Entering / Importing invoice information into the accounting system.· Monitoring vendor compliance information in conjunction with others.· Managing daily check and weekly electronic payment runs.· Auditing accounts payable vendor information for accuracy and completeness.· Management of office supply stock.· Other light office tasks as needed (phone support, mail support, etc.)Our Company utilizes Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) which is also integrated with Sage Paperless Construction. These two platforms enable us to create a highly digital environment that is very transparent and extremely efficient. The Accounts Payable role is the starting point for much of the information used by this system. The right candidate will be comfortable in a digital environment that is not devoid, but many times absent of a paper work-flow.Strong communication skills are essential to perform all of the roles of this position. High attention to detail and the ability to organize multiple tasks is also critical. Technical knowledge of the construction industry and a formal education of the accounting process are both beneficial and desired.Knowledge and experience with Sage 300 CRE 300 (Timberline), Sage Paperless Construction, and MS Excel are also preferred. Training will be provided to supplement and assist in these areas.The position works very closely with the entire accounting group and all of the Company project teams.
