Job Description : Job Summary: Perform day‐to‐day financial transactions, including inputting, verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable/receivable data.Description of Duties:Perform day‐to‐day financial transactions, including inputting, verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable/receivable dataSchedule AP payments and obtain required invoice approvalsPrepare invoices, credits and bank deposits and research vendor or customer payment posting discrepancies & resolve issuesPrepare state sales tax returns via Avalara and process accounts and payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresReconcile the subledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Generate data and reports detailing accounts payable/receivable statusAssist with month‐end close process, annual financial audit, annual tax complianceOther responsibilities as assignedJob Qualifications:AA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationProven working experience as accounts payable/receivable specialist or accountantUnderstanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collectionData entry skills and proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting/financial recordsHands‐on experience in operating spreadsheets/MS Office and ERP accounting software (NetSuite highly preferred)Proficiency in communication and customer service orientationHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailJob Types: Full-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: From $33.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Newark, CA 94560: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
