Job Description : This position supports the team cross-functionally and carries out duties according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. This role will be primary back-up to the AP and AR positions as well.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process credit card payments from customersReconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balancesPost end of day sales order invoicesProcess sales order creditsProcess AP invoice entryProcess monthly International invoicingVerify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements. Enter new or update vendor names and dataScan weekly payment records into systemProtect organization’s value by keeping information confidentialServe as backup to the AP and AR positions as needed to include processing weekly payments and collectionsOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceAssociates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred with 1-2 years related experienceCompetenciesCommunication: Effectively communicate to internal and external business partners by sharing expertise to encourage accomplishment of shared business goals.Teamwork and Collaboration: Actively support and collaborate with peers and team members to contribute to overall company success.Knowledge: Display knowledge of department, applicable products, services and business objectives.
