Job Description : Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Associate to join a dynamic company. The Accounting Associate will support the accounting and finance departments by performing accounting tasks. Responsibilities include reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. If you have a high level of attention to accuracy and detail, then this is the Accounting Associate opportunity for you! This position is located in the Greater Kalamazoo Area and is contract to permanent.
What you get to do every day

Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Perform day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Billing
Help with administrative duties as they present themselves
Analyze and track expenses
Help with editing and creating financial documents for the Accounting team
Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired
High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must
1+ years of experience working in accounting
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
