Job Description : As an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist at Sprinkles, you will be responsible for accounts payable support of all bakeries which will include reviewing and auditing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting the bakeries with any accounts payable needs. This role will be based onsite at our headquarters in Austin, TX. We are excited to be reporting back to our office with safety measures in place.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies.
Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Answer all vendor inquiries and resolution of vendor disputes.
Input payable invoices into the internal system.
Print accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files.
Reconcile processed work by verifying account coding.
Invoice processing to prepare for weekly check run and preparing checks for mailing.
Maintain records for accounts payable. Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
Research payables, as necessary.
Identify, investigate, and correct any invoice and coding discrepancies.
Assist in monthly closings.
Special projects as assigned by manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Payable or related experience.
Experience with multi-unit organizations is preferred but not required.
Experience working in Compeat, PlateIQ, Certify and Quickbooks is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills and high capability of effective planning and priority setting.
Strong problem-solving skills, verbal skills, and written communication skills.
Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
High sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well independently yet also able to be an integral and supportive member of a team.
