Job Description : The Disney Financial Services Purchase-to-Pay organization provides global support to our business segment partners and suppliers across The Walt Disney Company related to Purchasing, Disbursements, Controls / Compliance and Cash Management Optimization.

Responsibilities :

The Accounting Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, achieving invoice data matching / posting productivity targets, and identifying / addressing invoice related defects. This role will be required to collaborate with internal partners, stakeholders and suppliers to identify / propose process improvements that will mitigate / eliminate defects and drive efficiencies.

TRANSACTION PROCESSING
Support Global Stakeholders & Suppliers
Timely Posting of Invoices & Address Invoice Related Defects
Research & Resolve Complex Purchase Order & Invoice Related Errors
Analyze Data and Identify Process Improvements

Basic Qualifications :

0-2 years accounting experience, experience within Accounts Payable
Attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to learn new programs, applications, processes and provide process improvement ideas
Ability to handle high volume of work in a deadline driven environment and prioritize work
Experience with Microsoft office products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated SAP knowledge
Demonstrated Accounts Payable knowledge
Demonstrated analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated SAP knowledge
Demonstrated Accounts Payable knowledge
Demonstrated analytical skills

Required Education :

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent

Preferred Education :

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
