Job Description : Accounting Consultant | 6 Month Contract | Clearwater, FL (Hybrid work schedule)
Pay: $50-$60/hour, depending on experience
Location: Clearwater, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6+ Months
A high-growth Water / Renewables start-up in the Tampa/Clearwater, FL area is seeking to bring their accounting processes in-house and will be hiring a contract Accounting Consultant to start as soon as possible. In this role, the client prefers a hybrid working arrangement, being in the office part of the time and is open to remote work at other times. This role reports directly to the companies CFO.
This is an excellent opportunity for hands on Accounting Consultants who are eager to work along side organizational leadership in tackling real world challenges in the Water and Renewables industry.
The ideal Accounting Consultant will have the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of relevant and recent Accounting experience
Highly proficient in US GAAP.
Recent experience using Quickbooks
Public Company / SEC experience not required, but is preferred
Complete understanding of Corporate Accounting process flows, etc.
Experience and high proficiency with M/E Close, AP/AR., etc.
Technical accounting backgroud is not required, but experience with ASC 606 standards is highly preferred.
