Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be experienced using Microsoft Office; Excel and Word and in handling a wide range of administrative and support related tasks. The candidate must be able to work independently with little supervision and have exceptional follow through. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

General Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Complete month and year end process.
Approves or rejects invoices and/or expense reports.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Requirements/Qualifications
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise.
BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
