Job Description : Accounting Manager$90k – $100k + 10% defined annual bonusTampa, FL 33607 (Westshore area)We are currently performing an exclusive search for an exceptional Accounting Manager for a Tampa Bay area company which is a leader in their industry. Our client is flexible to structure this role as 2-3 days remote / WFH.Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager: Manage the activities of the Accounting Department while reporting to the Corporate ControllerPrepare and analyze the monthly and quarterly financial statement reporting packages for distribution to the executive leadership teamAct as a key resource on special projects, external audits, and continuous process improvementsOversee all general ledger transactions to ensure both proper accounting treatment and adherence to internal policiesIdentify and implement business process improvement opportunitiesSupport technical accounting research for specific transactions or special projectsMaintain the accuracy and reliability of the control framework around the accounting systems and preparation of the financial statementsExperience & Qualifications for the Accounting Manager: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting requiredCPA preferredA minimum of 5+ years progressive accounting experiencePrior public accounting experience preferredStrong Excel skill setsExcellent analytical abilitiesTru-Bridge, Inc. is a specialized executive search firm for accounting and finance professionals.
