Job Description : WE WANT YOU! United Liquid Waste Recycling, INC is looking for a full time Accounting Manager.This position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing and budgeting procedures. This personalized meeting will help new team members navigate the benefit selection process and allow for an informed decision.Comprehensive benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K (match up to 4%), Life Insurance, Weekly Pay, Paid Holidays, Paid VacationResponsibilities: Oversee and analyze the accounting operations of subsidiary and affiliated corporations.Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactionsMaintain a documented system of accounting policies and proceduresOrganize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical)Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investmentsManage the production of the annual budget and forecastsCalculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to managementIssue timely and complete financial statementsBrief senior officers regularly on the company’s financial statusCoordinate the preparation of the corporate annual reportWork with external accounting firm to prepare end of year tax returns and externally prepared financialsCalculate and issue financial and operating metricsCommunicate with financial institutions to facilitate loans and comply with debt covenantsProvide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiationsStay informed on industry developments and changes in regulationCoordinate the provision of information to external IRS auditorsComply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsDesired Qualifications: Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with accounting software programsAdvanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detailIntegrity, with an ability to handle confidential information2+ years experience in Accounting fieldBA degree in Accounting or FinanceSalary/ Wage RangeCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Madison, WI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
