Job Description : Robert Half is partnering with a growing client in Ridgeland, MS that is searching for a CFO to join their team! This position will be a leader and will work closely with the other company’s executives. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience and at least 7-10 years of accounting experience. If you are not from the area, relocation can be paid.

Responsibilities :
Lead an accounting/finance team
High focus on team and people development through leadership.
Organize and restructure accounting department roles and responsibilities.
Deliver financial updates to leadership team.
Oversight of day-to-day accounting operations of the organization including coordination of month- end/year-end closing process.
Oversee preparation of internal financial statements.
Prepare and maintain budgets including ad-hoc forecasting and modeling.
Maintain adequate internal financial controls
Research and analyze issues/transactions.
Coordinate year-end close process with outside CPA firm.
Organize and maintain customer specific programs.
Assist with special projects as needed to include process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA preferred
At least 7-10 years of accounting experience
At least 5-7 years of leadership experience
Must be willing to report to the office every day (no remote capabilities)
