Introduction:
Working in close partnership with the business, provide support to drive business decisions.Interpret and explain performance within the business on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis.Work alongside the UK team in respect of key planning assumptions and prepare financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.Automating existing models so they run faster and more reliablyProvide ad-hoc analysis and insights on specific issues
What will you be doing?
Monitor actual performance against target and provide understanding for variances.Preform reconciliation between financial systems and operation system to understand the provisions utilizedBe in touch with the Finance business partner to validate the provision utilization, requirement etc.,Work with Finance Control and other stakeholders to address the queries, if any, they have on provisionsProduce daily, weekly and Monthly reportingTo respond to routine, ad-hoc and audit queries/commercial requests.Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity where possible by learning tools like Tableau, SAC, Alteryx etc,
What we’re looking for:
Financial planning & analysis or financial control experience preferable for both Group and in businessGood understanding of financial accountancy and analyticsCommercial knowledge of banking industryAbility to translate financials to commentaries

Skills that will help you in the role:
o Qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA
o Excellent communication skills given business engagement and partnering activities
