Job Description : Your field of responsibility
The Application Protection (AP) Requirement Engineer role will have an opportunity to help shape the security future of Credit Suisse as part of this transformation by driving the delivery, adoption, and strengthening of new solutions and products to help mitigate application threats and vulnerabilities.
As the AP RE, you will have following responsibilities:
An exciting Requirement Engineer position that spans the application security and DevSecOps domains which are pivotal to the bank. We offer you the opportunity to modernize and spearhead the strategy and gather requirements for application security.
Your key responsibilities include – gathering & managing detailed requirements from various partners and produce concise specifications & help to design the process in accordance with the program strategy.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Capability Leads, Service Owners, Architects, Testers, Developers, Project Managers and Clients on scope, solutions, constraints and risks.
Use Case modelling and creation of Use Case specifications, creation of interface, report and workflows specification documents and data models.
Partnering and understanding the requirements of the development community is key to success and ensuring that the solutions we offer don’t add unnecessary friction to the development processes.
Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Communication of business information to a technical audience.
Define and resolve dependencies, issues and risks and identify impacted areas through team collaboration
Develop training materials/process improvements
Creation of visual models of current “as-is” and future “to be” workflows
Simplify existing processes and tasks to reduce overall costs of service
Perform current / target / gap / impact analysis, collect expert input and describe impact across all areas.
Continuously develop subject-matter expertise in business areas that help facilitate the needs and requirements of the business Contribute to strategic roadmap efforts.
Collaborate with the appropriate teams to build business cases and project justification reports
This an opportunity to build from the ground up. It is important to consider the development community and the move to a CI/CD type environment. Deep technical knowledge in AppSec is essential.

This function partners closely with IT Risk to support the Bank in protecting, detecting and thwarting any security threats, managing compliance regulation and preventing data breaches.
Data Protection and Application Security (DPAS) organization within ESS is responsible for the design and delivery of the key technical capabilities, products and services related to information security. This includes Public Key Infrastructure, Data Leakage Prevention, Information Rights Management, Application Security, Authentication and Federation.
We operate in four locations currently: UK, Switzerland, Poland and India providing products and services globally to Credit Suisse, and we significantly increase our presence in Pune, India in order to provide both commoditized and newly developed services to our internal customers globally.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess below:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related sciences field (alternatively provable equivalent education and practical experience in this domain)
Proven experience as a requirement analyst with a focus on application security and secure code development is preferred
8 years of hands-on experience in a similar role and software engineering experience with an outstanding understanding of modern practices and trends in Enterprise, Enabling, Cyber and IT security, technologies and frameworks
You have good understanding in application security and development lifecycle
Experience in successful utilization and integration of enterprise workflow platforms a must
Knowledge of Agile, Cloud, DevOps, Open Source and a programming language is of substantial advantage as well as practical experience of driving projects and encouraging creative or forward-thinking in a traditional and modern IT environment
You have a proven ability to quickly learn new skills, with excellent analytical ability helping you to act as a dedicated problem solver of complex issues
You are intellectually curious and therefore remain abreast of technical trends and developments relating to technical products that might be used enterprise wide and software delivery methodologies
Your strong interpersonal and multi-tasking and skills enable you to quickly gain trust and build up efficient relationships to collaborate with internal partners to drive design of global and regional initiatives/ programs forward
You demonstrate the ability to evidence implementation of a team culture, resulting of continuous improvement methodology across people, process and technology
Proficient in balancing business partner views and interests. Engaging senior leaders with different professional and cultural backgrounds in functional merits of Enterprise IT, including articulating business benefits in very tangible ways.
