Job Description : Proficient knowledge on End to End Purchase process
Reviews & Verifies demand and convert req to order Direct based on defined SLA,Manage MRP exception by coordinating with suppliers.PO creation, issuance and timely acknowledgement from suppliers;Maintenance of order and monitoring Supplier OTDManage open POs through confirmations for deliveries and updating it in ERP;
Maintain the inventory level as per plant Hi5 Metrics (Model Plant policy)
Timely execution and review of forecast with supplier.RTV management for rejected partsSupport to CS team to get quotationsUnderstanding & experience in Schedule & VMIC ordersIdeas & project identification & execution in cost out & cost avoidanceDay to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers, Suppliers on the timely actions and resolutions.Expedite, De-expedite, followup with supplier to meet committed deliveries as per business requirement;Invoice ‘on hold’ resolution support for timely payments to the vendors;Creating and timely upgrading the SOPs and other related documents, per QMS requirments;Preparing and maintaning Procurement reporting as per site requirments;Day to day communication with various stakeholders like Site Buyers, Suppliers on the timely actions and resolutions.Adherence to defined KPIs and improvements;Working Knowledge of ERP like SAP,Oracle,Vista, Mapics etc; ( SAP will be preferred)Exposure to Spot/Tactical Buying,Supply Managment and Negotiation skills would be of added advantage.Identify projects pertaining to process excellence maturity
Qualifications
Educational Level Required:
Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent/ Post Graduate in any stream
Years and area of experience required:
Masters with 2-3 years / Bachelors with 2-3 years of experience
Technical Knowledge:
Purchasing exposure in Manufacturing or Electrical Industry or shared service center
Domain Knowledge – SCM
Reproting and Analysis
PO and Supply Management
Order Mgt (ERPs / IT Applications/CRM Application)
Master Data Management
Soft Skills:
Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Office and Power Point;Effective Communication, Presentation & Listening SkillsHigh Learning AgilityCustomer Centric ApproachEscalation Management and Solution providerEffective CollaborationPeople agility (Comfort around higher management, dealing with stakeholders / people at different levels etc)
