Job Description : Job Summary- This position will be based in Pune and will be in GSC CoE. The principle role of the this position is to support Electrical Business in US region in the tactical procurement activities. This includes understanding materials to be purchased, negotiations with suppliers and the ongoing supplier relationship management. This is a single site role with assignment to remote plant location. This position requires the incumbent to work in US shifts.
Job Responsibilities
PO creation and timely PO acknowledgement from suppliers;
Creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as per business requirement / own deliverables;Managing the Open Order reports and liaising with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations;Updating ERP as per the confirmations received from the suppliers;Communicating with stakeholders(buyers, planners etc.) at plant/site for day to day activities or queries and their resolutions;Action Messages reporting & updateResolving Invoices- MRBR, DolphinMonitoring SOTD and Inventory metrics of Plant and measurement to achieve Hi5 MetricsResolving receiving/warehouse put away issues.Working Knowledge of ERP. SAP preferred.Identification of Cost Outs and realization benefiting BusinessResolving shortages.Evaluating MDMReview planning paraments (Min/Max, ROP) and update considering nature of partsAble to manage operational report with knowledge of basic excel functions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3-4 Years of Experience in SCM
Sound knowledge of ERP’s
Basic Negotiation, Effective Communication, Decision Management
