This role will influence and supply support for a variety of activities related to projects run in the construction business unit. This role will also be highly interconnected within finance and provide support as necessary to our National Paint and Multi-Housing business units.Major Opportunities & Key Accountabilities: Refine project job folders and integrate to Smartsheet.Manage job cost reporting and analysis.Improve change order process.Develop and maintain transaction workflows for construction activities.Lead cross functional interfaces with the Construction and Finance & Accounting teams to develop and monitor project budgets, reporting and transactions.Facilitate open communication with key internal and external stakeholders.Work with construction management team to create a concrete pricing and costing plan.Improve compliance and invoicing process per requirements of customer(s).Manage and own processes that will improve the execution of the business unit operations.Provide support for additional financial reporting around business units’ operations.Refine subcontractor invoicing approval process.Manage customer invoicing processes to ensure timely invoice to payment.Identify key economic matrix that will drive growth, margin, and capacity in ensure efficient business operations within the segment.Nature & Scope: No direct responsibility for supervising other FCP employees.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: A strong working knowledge of construction accounting and processes.The ability to complete multiple projects in a short time.Self-starter.The ability to adapt, overcome, and improvise where needed.Must be able to prioritize tasks and able to switch from one project to another as deadlines change.Strong communication skills, especially in working with multiple communication styles of key stakeholders.The ability to understand multiple business units and the differences in processes.Core Competencies: Managing SelfRelating to PeopleManaging WorkThinking & DecidingAchievingCore Values: People – We believe in providing a great work environment that puts people first.
