Job Description : A local DC based company is looking to add an Assistant Controller to their accounting group. This person will be responsible for the following:
Month-end and GL operations
Cash accounting and treasury
Technical accounting guidance on complex issues
Interaction with outside auditors
Mentoring a small staff of accountants
The selected candidate should have experience with the above responsibilities. A CPA is preferred. Industry experience is open. There will be (2) days in the office expected for this role.
