Job Description : $55,000 – $65,000+ per year with growth potentialJob DescriptionCavalier Produce seeks an experienced and versatile Assistant Controller for its wholesale fresh produce and sundry grocery product business. A summary of duties follows:1) assistance in maintaining the organization’s financial records and producing reports2) mastering accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vouching functions3) helping to oversee Accounting Department personnel4) assisting with special projects such as document imaging, report writing, and insurance placement5) serving as a resource for the Accounting team for ongoing process improvement and strategic initiativesYour first assignment will be accounts payable plus ongoing interactions with the Controller on other tasks.Position Qualifications*Bachelor’s Degree*Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, including payables and receivables.*Accounting degree preferred.
