Job Description : Assistant Controller – Valley Forge, PADelval Equipment, a growing company with 60 year history, is searching for a qualified and energetic individual looking to find a long-term home, in our Valley Forge HQ. Delval Equipment markets and supports combustion, heat transfer, and energy related products and services. We offer competitive salary and benefits, including 401k with company match.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPosition will work directly with our Controller and our current Assistant Controller, while we transition our accounting system to Net Suite.Opportunities to get involved in all functions of accounting department including:· billing, credit, collections receipts, and accounts payable· involvement with financial statement preparation and analysis· tax reporting and GAAP compliance research· monthly/quarterly sales tax returns and state withholding online payments· serving as a liaison to external CPA Firm as needed· job costing and progress billing· review of inventory reports, reconciliations and cycle counts processes· expense review in accordance with company policiesQualificationsAccounting degree required with a minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred. Candidate should be able to multi-task and communicate well with internal departments and customers as needed. Advanced skills with Excel and Access preferred including pivot tables, vlookups, data manipulation formulas, and queries.
