Responsible for day to day management of the general ledger. Coordinates the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Responsible for the supervision of Staff Accountants and Accounting Clerk. With the Controller, this position is responsible for making sure that all corporate financial reporting deadlines are met. Assists CFO and Controller on special projects as required. Responsible for completing all SOX quarterly and semi-annual audits. Manages the completion of our annual cost report workpapers, as well as tax workpapers and other audits as required. Assists the controller and CFO in the completion of the monthly MOR package. Responsible for monthly Medicare exhibits.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Experience:
3-5 years accounting experience in hospital fiscal services preferred
CPA preferred
