With over 30 years of experience we understand the needs of the medical professional and the clients that we serve.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Assistant Controller/GL Accountant to join our dynamic team! This is a Full-Time position, that will start out in-office and gradually transition to Hybrid as proficiency is acquired.Responsibilities Include: Supervise two Payroll AccountantsSet-up new projects and enter modifications for existing projects in accounting systemProcess Accounts PayablesPrepare & Upload invoices on WAWF as required and resolve rejectedApply Customer Payments and manage depositsFollow-up with customers and vendors as neededPeriodical Internal account reconciliations and Bank ReconciliationPreparation for Monthly closingAssist and work with outside consultant in reconciliations and monthly closingPrepare and send Monthly Borrowing BaseWork with Outside CPA firm on Statutory Audit and company tax returnQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:1. A 4 year Degree, preferably in a Business / Accounting related field2. Exposure to Government Contracting3. Familiarity with Unanet4. Five years of experience in a similar position5. Exposure to working successfully in a team environmentCompensation based on experience.
