About the Job (JOB DESCRIPTION)
We have an opportunity for UX writers to work on an ERP management tool designed to reduce complexity, simplify workflow and organizational management. It improvises business practices, save time, money and workforce allocation. Creativity is acknowledged and embraced for this role. This role will require the UX writers to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and designers to create compelling user experience-based content, blogs, website content, one-liners and emailers.
Roles and Responsibilities
•
Work closely with designers and product managers to solve a variety of design challenges and create copy for different task flows.
•
Design the tone, syntax, and semantics of language that will be used across the user interface of our product.
•
Able to write clear & concise micro-copy for all scenarios including informational, error & instructional.
•
Have a knowledge of communication style guidelines, User experience and UX Writing impact.
•
Should be willing to get involved in UX research
Must Have UX Writer Skills and Experience
•
Experience writing UX copy for Apps or Websites
•
Able to understand the target audience and write effective/persuasive copy
•
A portfolio of UX-focused and creative writing samples and style guidelines.
•
1+ years of relevant industry experience
•
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
•
Thorough in applying rules of grammar
•
A flair for creating content that is empathetic, memorable, and resonates with the pulse of the users
Desired UX Writer Skills and Experience
•
Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills and ability to simplify
•
Excellent communication and writing skills
•
Knowledge of SEO practices, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Sisense, Google Keyword Planner
•
Marketing copywriting or content writing experience with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
•
Strong understanding of different styles of writing for different requirements.
•
Ability to grasp concepts quickly.
•
Highly responsible and committed.
•
Strong UI/UX and design experience with the ability to simplify complex scenarios to the average user without losing functionality
•
Confidence to drive assignments to completion
