GBL Ventures (a unit of Good Business Lab) develops innovative, user-centred workplace technology tools, and produces insights about the adoption, effectiveness, and paths to scale the technology into a venture. GBL continues to design, evaluate, and proliferate new programs aimed at a myriad of persistent workplace issues.

GBL was founded in 2017 as a research-based start-up by two academics from the University of Michigan and the Head of Organizational Development at Shahi Exports, India’s largest apparel exporter. Today, GBL is using its research findings to build innovative products.

Here is brief information on two of the many products that we are currently building:

Grievance management dashboard: a gamified dashboard for the HR in large apparel manufacturing factories to record, track and manage grievances received from workers. The web application is cloud hosted and integrates with the telecommunication sector. The reach of this product is across India with plans to scale in different Asia-Pacific regions. Technologies used: React, AWS, Django REST framework for backend.

Salary advance tool (Fintech space): An app which will enable employees to withdraw their earned salary at any given time in the month. Technologies used (tentative): Phyton, AWS, integration with banking sector, REST API, React JS.

Role Summary
As an Associate Project Manager at GBL, you will get a chance to work on a portfolio of products built for social impact. You will work with small yet motivated product teams. This is an opportunity to have an outsized impact towards our goal: worker wellbeing is good business.
Responsibilities

Managing project organization
Conducting scrum meetings and sprint ceremonies
Be responsible for managing and tracking all phases of a software project to ensure on-time completion
Creating and managing project plans, including the Project Initiation Document, Project Plan, Gantt Charts, retrospectives and others while complying with PMP best practices
Tracking and measuring project/team progress
Delivering administrative services for the projects
Communicate program status, program readiness, business and technical issues, risks, and their resolution across Engineering, Design and Program Management teams
Assembling and coordinating project team members, assigning responsibilities, and driving team collaboration

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree
2-5 years of experience in a similar role and at least 2 years of experience working in Agile Software Delivery
Highly proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, MS Planner, Asana, Trello, Notion, Jira, Confluence)
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple project activities and competing work demands
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to be assertive, take initiative and get the job done
Ability to communicate / work with a multicultural team

Duration of Work: Full Time
Location – Delhi/Bangalore

Remuneration – 10 lacs p.a
