The Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ heart-of-the-business issues. Moreover, CBO seeks to enhance our clients’ business operations and help them take advantage of new technologies through innovation aided by designing, implementing, and deploying sector-specific solutions and programs.

CBO has five different offerings:
Application Modernization Innovation (AMI) delivers end-to-end technology and application solutions to enable and improve our clients’ core business operations. Cloud Engineering Services (CES) is focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations.

Operations Transformation (OT) is focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.
Core Technology Operations (CTO) offers differentiated Operate services for our clients with solutions to help organizations manage their portfolio of IT applications, scale and optimize critical business operations, drive speed to the outcome, deliver business transformation.
Cloud Native Development Manager

What You’ll Do
As a Manager, you would be expected to:
Work closely with the functional team and client to understand the business requirements
Make recommendations on architecture and implementation
Lead the overall Technical delivery
Ensure time bound delivery as per project plan
Lead all the documentation efforts.
Ensure standards and best practices are followed
Design and Development
Act as a bridge between the other application teams in the engagement.
Work closely with the Project Manager, raise potential risks, prepare status reports
Guide and mentor junior resources
Respond to proposals and provide estimations
Qualifications and Experience
10 + yrs. of Software Development Experience in the relevant technologies
Excellent understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)
Managing and architecting (Cloud Native Development projects ) small and largescale implementation across various industries.
Good experience and exposure of Cloud Native architecture, development, and deployment on public clouds – AWS, Azure, or GCP (Please find below specific skills from each platform)
Good hands-on experience in Linux/*nix systems (shell scripts, system activity reports, stats, familiarity with processes, dump and log analysis)
Understanding of clusters, distributed architecture, container environments
Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk
Strong written and verbal communications are a MUST
Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes etc.
Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Bosh, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Concourse is preferred
Experience working on agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban)
Experience with Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, TeamCity, and other Continuous Integration tools
Experience with Spring, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data
Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues
A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models
Experience working on a team delivering a customer facing product
Improve and document standard operating procedures
Willing and able to learn new technologies and industry trends for cloud computing
Experience estimating enterprise-scale software development projects
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Experience in one of the following platform environments is a must
Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF):
Managing and architecting Cloud Native application projects.
Maintain availability and resiliency of the large-scale PCF environments/foundations
Experience as an operator with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Open Source Cloud Foundry (Taking care of upgrades, application onboarding, resolving application issues w.r.t. deployment on PCF foundation, bosh level troubleshooting, Backup and recovery)
Operational experience for the tiles supported in PCF (e.g. MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis)
Well versed with performing app portfolio analysis
Maintain and configure Security Enabled Spring Cloud Services
Nice to have knowledge or experience on PCF Spring Cloud Data Flow and Spring XD
Pivotal Cloud Foundry Developer or Pivotal Cloud Native Architect certification is preferred
Azure:
Managing and architecting Cloud Native application projects.
Experience in deploying containerized web apps on Azure App Service or Azure Kubernetes Service
Experience in developing and deploying Microservices on Azure Fabric Service
Experience in Serverless application development using Azure Functions
Azure Solution Architect certification is preferred
