Job Description : Full Job DescriptionDescription: SUMMARYDeltahire is looking for an energetic Accountant ready to become a leader in the emerging area of accounting for NFTs, cryptocurrency, and other blockchain technologies. If you have a love for new technologies and passion for building financial processes to meet technical accounting criteria, this is the role for you. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting for ecommerce, gaming or other technology platforms, with specific exposure to revenue and operations accounting.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*Serve as subject matter expert for accounting for NFTs, cryptocurrency, and other blockchain technologiesCreate and execute processes to account for operations of our NFT platform and document relevant statements of proceduresPartner closely with business development and technology teams to understand product roadmaps and then define critical accounting issuesWork with technical accounting and internal controls teams to ensure operational accounting processes meet applicable GAAP and controls requirementsDefine and communicate reporting requirements to support operational accounting activitiesManage the day-to-day responsibilities of the accounting staff within the teamSupport internal and external audits by efficiently maintaining records and preparing required documentationEnsure all accounting activities are completed with the highest level of control and integrityDemonstrate emotional intelligence in handling potentially stressful situations, including managing competing priorities, change, tight deadlines, and conflictEXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONRequiredMinimum 2 years of public accounting and/or general accounting experience requiredCertified Public Accountant is a plusBig 4 accounting experience is a plusAccredited Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related fieldJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $135,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
