Job Description : Things are staying busy at AAA Heating and we are looking to bring on a Full-Time Bookkeeping & Accountant to our team!AAA Heating & Cooling has been the leader in residential and commercial furnace & AC installation, service and repair throughout the Portland Metro area. We are looking for the right person to join our accounting team for a full-time bookkeeping & accountant position.Job Duties Include:- Journal Entries & Balancing (banking, loans, interest, etc.)- Working with Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable.- Tax Preparation and Payroll.- Supporting accounting/office staff.- Filing paperwork and reports.-Some human resource duties.Benefits Include:- Medical & Dental Benefits- IRA and retirement account- Competitive Compensation- Paid Time Off- On the Job training for our database softwareRequirements:- Ideally 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting positions and working with other accountants.- Understanding of A/P, A/R, balancing statements, tax preparation, reconciliation, payroll, gen ledger, etc.- Some experience with Human Resources.- Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and QuickBooks.- Reliability & a good attention to detail.- Organized, Self starter and thorough communication skills.Our current Bookkeeper/Accountant is retiring so we are looking to fill that position.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusCOVID-19 considerations:AAA Heating & Cooling follows all CDC guidelines in regards to COVID-19Ability to commute/relocate:Portland, OR 97211: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
