Job Description : We are looking for an Project Accountant/Bookkeeper to help manage financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and some budgeting. Bookkeeper will help with reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position.ResponsibilitiesReconcile accounts payable and receivablePrepare budget forecastsPublish financial statements in timeHelp prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closingsEnsure timely bank paymentsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsAudit financial transactions and documentsReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryComply with financial policies and regulationsSkillsWork experience as an Project Accountant or BookkeeperExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAGE and ProCoreExperience with general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsRelated keywords: accounting, accountant, staff accountant, bookkeeper____Location: This role will be located temporarily in Park City, Utah.
