Position :
Job Description : Leverage analytical and statistical models to better develop business insights to mitigate credit and operations risk and enhance efficiencies.
This may require you to work independently to successfully deliver on analytical tasks by starting to identify problem, develop hypothesis, set up problem frameworks, define clear objectives, undertake data discovery, synthesize and analyze large & complex data sets, formulate concise conclusions with actionable recommendations, and create presentations to pitch findings and/or strategies
Manage report and data migration. Deep involvement with the Risk reporting team to migrate processes and reports via automation
Keep abreast of learn to leverage new tools and technologies e.g. ML/AI techniques
Actively participate and present in Risk meetings and forums
Work with Sales, Operations, IT, and Legal, Operations and Data management partners to ensure smooth and timely execution of work
Qualifications
MBA / Master’s degree in Economics , Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field preferred
2+ years of relevant strategy /analytics experience, preferably in financial services
Consumer credit risk and commercial business analytics experience preferred
Hands on experience in programming languages like Python & R , SAS and SQL
Evidence of analytical judgement & curiosity and comfortable with ambiguity in solving problems in the white space
Be Action Oriented and dedicated to take action without fear of failing and staying focused on finishing on your goals
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience with Data visualization Tools (Tableau, Looker, Alteryx, Business Objects etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data, including interpretation of model results and its impact in both operational and financial areas
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across cross-functional groups
