Job Description : FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for an Accountant to work for our client.

Work Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
Support the month end close process for commissions and royalties accounting. This includes:
Working with client teams on gathering inputs
Calculating the commission accrual and deferred commission journal entries
Maintain deferred commission waterfall
Complete monthly reconciliation of accrued commissions and deferred commission balance sheet accounts
Support commission requests for stat audits
Work with client teams on obtaining information required for accounting activities
Calculate royalty accrual and advance adjustments
Run reports in client systems
Complete monthly reconciliation of accrued royalties and royalty advances balance sheet accounts
Support other month end close activities. This includes:
Actively build and manage relationships with international accounting and other client teams
Participate in other compliance and risk management initiatives the company may engage
Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and key projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of accounting/finance experience at a US based global company
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work on large complexed spreadsheets
Ability to work independently and perform multiple concurrent and diversified tasks in an agile work environment
Strong analytical skills
Strong documentation & communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Some exposure to foreign exchange
Experience working with larger companies
