This entity is based in Paducah, Kentucky and generates about $45 million of revenue per year. This construction-based entity installs fire sprinkler and alarm systems, as well as security systems, and provides inspection and monitoring services for those systems.Responsibilities: The Accounting Manager will report to the Division President and is responsible for overseeing operational processes such as cash management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, administration of job-related billings, and payroll time entry for both union and non-union employees. This role will oversee four branches in Paducah, Kentucky; Owensboro, KY; Charleston, SC; and Chaffee, MO and will be responsible for monitoring and consolidating financial results at each. The Accounting Manager will also assist each branch in developing and monitoring budgets and KPIs and will play an active role in ensuring accurate reporting of costs and revenue applied to jobs. This role will also be responsible for recording month-end journal entries and generating month-end financial data in a timely manner. This supervisory role will manage a team of 5 direct reports, so strong leadership skills will be vital to this position.As a subsidiary of a publicly traded company, Premier Fire is subject to SOX requirements and is in the process of developing an internal control environment that is SOX-compliant.
