Job Description : We are a General Contractor in Everett and are looking to for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to add to our team. If you have experience in accounting working at a small to medium size commercial construction company, have experience in “wearing many hats” in this type of industry, and enjoy constantly problem solving, this may be the perfect job for you!To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 3-5 years experience in commercial construction accounting, be detailed, organized, able to multi-task, be self-motivated, and be a problem solver that is able to work with little to no supervision. This person must also enjoy a constantly changing and fast-paced workload. The office staff has a good time working together with very little drama, other than the drama caused by our very busy office environment.Those who do not meet the REQUIRED skills need not apply. We are looking to fill this job immediately and will not consider applicants that do not meet the minimum requirements stated. Wage will be between $28 and $38 per hour and will be determined by individual relative experience. Please state in your reply if you have a minimum pay requirement.Required Work Experience and Software Knowledge· Work experience as an Accounting Manager in the commercial construction industry involved in detailed Job Cost Accounting, with 3 – 5 years recent job history in this field.· Strong skills in MS Office 365, specifically Excel and Outlook· Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management· Strong reading comprehension and communication skills· Strong proactive, independent, and problem-solving working skills· Experience working with a modular accounting software (QuickBooks is not a modular accounting software)Responsibilities: Accounting ManagementSupervise and manage all accounting aspects related to accounts payableWeekly check run reports to the Owner for payment reviewProcess vendor payments as directed by OwnerPrepare and submit monthly Excise Tax ReportsMaintain Corporate and Asset FilesReview and manage accounting system job budgets and cost coding for accuracyReview Job Information from and to several third-party software’s for integration into the accounting systemFile Intents, Affidavits, and Prevailing Wage reports as requiredHuman Resource FunctionsReview and process New Hire documentsMaintain HR FilesProcess weekly timesheets.Process Employee COBRA Documents as neededManage and process and L&I Claims or Unemployment ClaimsProcess all audit documentation for State Employment or Insurances as requiredPlease indicate if you have experience with any of the belowAdobe DCSAGE 100 ContractorGCPaySage PaperlessProcoreDropbox for BusinessWebsite maintenanceJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Everett, WA 98201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Please list construction trades you have accounting experience with.Experience:Construction Accounting: 5 years (Required)Work Location: One location
