Job Description : CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING POSITION We are looking for a part time accounting manager who will be responsible for all accounting and payroll operations. Key tasks include: operations of financial and accounting functions, such as month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and attentively monitoring company cash flow. Construction accounting software experience required.Responsibilities Perform all daily/weekly/monthly/yearly accounting functions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, WIP reports & Job Costing reportsResponsible for ensuring that payments to suppliers and subcontractor are made in compliance with contract termsPerform month-end process, including reconciliations and prepare financial reports for managementManage accounts receivable aging report, billing statements & payment collectionsWork with project managers on monthly AIA billings & change ordersPerform year-end close-out & prepare financial statements for CPAUpdate and maintain all documentation pertaining to business licenses, annual or recurring contracts and/ or leasesPrepare and notarize liens and intent to liensCalculate daily time records for all employees and process Payroll and direct depositsQualifications Formal education in Accounting preferredMinimum 3-5 years of financial and/or accounting experience in construction accounting for general contractor or subcontractor in the construction industry requiredExperience in job cost accounting and financial reportingIntermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Suite, Procore, Foundation or similar construction accounting softwareJob Type: Part-timePay: $25.00 – $36.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Littleton, CO 80120: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Construction Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
