Job Description : Wisdom Teeth Guys is looking for a Controller to develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures of our company!Wisdom Teeth Guys is a rapidly expanding DSO (dental support organization) supporting practices in Utah, Texas and Arizona. We are the premier provider of support services for stand alone wisdom teeth removal clinics.We are an innovative company focused on doing one thing really well. Our supported practices have over 3,000 Five Star patient reviews and counting!As a Controller, you’ll monitor the company’s financial status, manage all accounting staff and manage day to day accounting transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, loyal, hard-working and who takes pride in their work. You must have great people skills and be able to interface with and serve other departments needs with a customer service attitude.ResponsibilitiesDocument, monitor and update accounting policiesManage a staff of four bookkeepersProvide accounting support to all other department managers and staff (billing and collections, marketing and sales, call center, clinical)Analyze costs and profitsSet and track financial KPIsReport on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when neededEnsure compliance with accounting and tax regulationsManaging monthly close and producing financial statementsSome light human resources dutiesAssist in the financial duties of starting up new marketsManaging insurance policies for professional liability, general liability, auto, etc.SkillsWork experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager or similar roleThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresHands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsExperience with cash managementGood knowledge of QuickbooksAbility to learn new software quicklyAttention to detailGreat communication skillsAt least 5 years experience managing other accounting staffJob Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Accounting Management: 5 years (Required)Managing Accounting Staff: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
