Job Description : The Controller/Business Manager will handle accounting and general office duties for our Aviation company based near downtown Austin. This is an in office position with the possibility for remote work from time to time.Duties will include (with support from CFO): Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting processManage AP/AR for Multiple EntitiesMaintain Vendors’ W-9 recordsManage employee reimbursement reportsUpdate accounts receivable on a daily basis, issue invoices and follow up with customersManage Intercompany Transfers as neededManage Corporate Credit Card AccountsReconcile bank accounts/Credit Card Accounts at the end of each monthReconcile Balance Sheet accountsPreparation of monthly/yearly closingsManage 1099 creation and distribution for clientsManage payrollReconcile employee benefits monthlyCompile Reports for management as neededThe ideal candidate will be very familiar with generally accepted accounting principles, will be able to work independently and will be able to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously in an in person and remote environment.
