Job Description : Responsible for the management and maintenance of general accounting systems to provide records of the assets, liabilities and financial transactions of the Hospital District. Oversees Accounting and Business Office functions. Has influence in making recommendations to Administrator and CFO regarding financial operations. Functions as member of the administrative team along with Administrator and CFO.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BA/BS degree in Accounting Experience and Training: Minimum five years experience at a controller level position, preferably in a hospital setting. Posses strong communication skills and able to work independently as well as in collaboration with other members of the management team. Able to work under pressure and handle multiple demands at one time. Computer knowledge and skills required, especially in the application of financial requirement. Experience with Meditech Information System preferred. Knowledge in developing business plans, analytic assessment of proposed/current projects and ability to structure projects effectively.
Shift: Day shift
Salary: $50.76-$65.26 DOE, salary, exempt.
