Job Description : About The Role
To support the continued growth of the business, this newly created role is primarily responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting process for BrewDog USA. Reporting to the USA CFO, the Controller will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including general accounting, revenue recognition, consolidations, external audit and SEC Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manages company’s financial reporting – prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting package.
Coordinate the annual audit process with independent public accountants and completes SEC filing.
Prepare ad hoc reports to analyze performance and track financial KPIs
Maintain and oversee all bar level/operational accounting procedures and processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Manage or assists with various Federal, State and local filings for excise, sales, and personal property tax
Document, monitor and update accounting policies
Performs other duties as assigned
About The Team

About You
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. MS / MBA is a plus.
CPA strongly preferred
Minimum 4-8 years of related experience in public accounting or a corporate accounting department
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, having advanced knowledge of Excel. SAP experience is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
